This deep-purple, inky, full-bodied Syrah was barrel fermented and hand racked for twenty-four months in American Appalachian oak barrels. The dark, rich, and deliciously intense fruit embodies the richness and full-bodied nose of violets, cured maple bacon, black raspberry jam, espresso, clove spice, and semi-sweet dark chocolates, resulting in the very character of this wine. Mayhem Syrah creates a mid-palate experience, combining the wonder of old pie spice and Syrah meatiness for an elegant finish that leaves you wanting more.
Mayhem Syrah is outstanding alone or as a companion for full-bodied cheeses, salmon, swordfish, roasted hen, turkey, grilled and smoked meats.
